SOUTHAMPTON, N.Y. 04/11/17 — Southampton Arts Center, located at 25 Jobs Lane in the heart of Southampton Village, is proud to announce the return of artist and curator Paton Miller with the new exhibition East End Collected3, an annual group show of works by new artists each year from the East End of Long Island, on view April 14 through May 29, with an opening reception for the public on Saturday, April 15 from 5-7 PM.

East End Collected3 reflects Paton Miller’s vision of this area as an ideal environment for artists to create work. The East End has a long tradition of fostering creative talent. As described by Miller, the East End provides artists with the freedom to remain meditative given the natural surroundings, while granting them the opportunity to receive feedback from an ever-growing artistic community.

Through this exhibition, Miller celebrates the community of artists, honors the collectors who have supported it, and marks Southampton Arts Center as a home where the East End arts scene can continue to thrive.

Related programs include an Artists Talk on Sunday, April 30 at 2 pm with six of the exhibition artists who will present slides of their work, each followed by a brief Q&A with Miller. Admission is free.

A closing weekend concert with Mambo Loco will take place on Saturday, May 27 at 7 pm. Admission to the concert is $15 and tickets can be purchased at the door or reserved online. Additionally, Paton Miller will hold an exclusive Drawing & Painting Workshop for Kids and Teens on Saturday, May 6 at 11 AM.
