f2f2015Artists in Partnership, Inc., a not-for-profit arts organization providing cultural arts programs to the community for over 15 years, and the Long Beach Public Library present the 5th Annual Folk-2-Funk Festival, an eclectic mix of Folk, Americana, Funk and Blues, Friday March 27th, through Sunday, March 29th at the Long Beach Public Library, 111 West Park Avenue, Long Beach, NY.
All events are FREE, but please bring non-perishable foods to be distributed to local food pantries. Please consider joining Artists in Partnership, Inc. either online at  or sign up at the event.

SCHEDULE
FRIDAY 3/27-
7:30-– “Chapman Stick Man” Trio
8:30- 4 : featuring Broadway World Award winner for Best Female Vocalist, Pamela Lewis, joined by John Hurley, Sean & Donna Gillen of “Code Bleu”

** Come down to LOLA’s-right after the Library show- Have a cocktail and enjoy the funky music of “The Sweet Soul Music Band” at 9:30. No Cover

SATURDAY 3/28
1:00 – Children’s Art and Music Workshop- Kids and their families participate in a music/movement program featuring Robin Greenstein and then make instruments from recycled materials that they can take home.
3:00 – : featuring the music of Leonard Cohen and Joni Mitchell

SATURDAY EVENING-
7:00 – – concert “Images of Women in Folk Music”.
7:45 – – Brooklyn’s own “Roots n’ Ruckus” singer/songwriter
8:30 – – Former James Brown Bass Man delivers Funk and Soul

** Come down to LOLA’s-right after the Library show– Have a cocktail and enjoy the music of the reunited “Li’l Cliff and the Cliffhangers” at 9:30. No Cover

SUNDAY 3/29-
1:30 – – Indie/Folk/Blues/Roots/Jazz guitarist, singer and songwriter
2:30 – – The Super Duo of Maura and Pete Kennedy
3:45 – – Brooklyn based folk/Americana collective
