Chamber Players International will present the third concert of its 2015/16 Landmark/Musical Cuisine series, on Sunday, March 6, with the concert at 2:00 PM and a wine/buffet reception at 3:30 PM at The Red Ballroom at Old Westbury Gardens, 71 Old Westbury Road in Old Westbury, NY. Wines are provided courtesy of Banfi Vintners.
This program features keyboard masterworks of J.S. Bach, performed by Julia Zilberquit.
Russian-born American pianist Julia Zilberquit has earned critical acclaim as a recitalist, orchestral soloist, chamber musician, and recording artist. She was praised by The New York Times as “an outstanding soloist” after her Carnegie Hall performance of Cesar Franck’s symphonic poem Les Djinns for piano and orchestra with Leon Botstein and the American Symphony Orchestra in 2012.
