Join the Children’s Museum each week they read childhood classics and introduce new favorites; followed by a take-home, book-inspired craft. This week in stART we will be reading “My Garden” by Kevin Henkes. A little girl’s imaginary garden blossoms with flowers that change color, tomatoes the size of beach balls, and chocolate rabbits! After the story create a flowerpot filled with colorful “blooming” flowers to take home!
Pattern Wizardy Opens June 3 at Children’s Museum
Kids will grab a cape and a wand and step inside the magical world of patterns at Long Island Children’s Museum’s newest exhibit, Pattern Wizardry. The bilingual, sensory exhibit opens Saturday, June 3 for its summer residency.
