The Edgar Allan Poe Festival is proudly hosted by the Town of Riverhead & the Town of Riverhead Business Improvement District and is Long Island’s LARGEST Halloween Spook-tacular!
During the fun-filled family-oriented three day celebration (October 31st, November 1st & 2nd) the streets and shops throughout Main Street Riverhead will be inhabited by street performers portraying Mr. Poe, himself, as well as many of his infamous literary characters such as Lenore, Roderick Usher, Prince Prospero, Annabelle Lee, C. Auguste Dupin and a ghastly assortment of “…things that go bump in the night!”
One-of-a-kind original theatrical performances will be scheduled for the public throughout the weekend.
