The Northport Arts Coalition, in cooperation with the Northport Public Library, presents a Family Affair with Heather Forest – Storyteller/Author/Musician. 

Heather’s minstrel style of storytelling intertwines original music, poetry and the sung and spoken word. She brings fables, fairytales, and ancient stories of adventure and enchantment to life in the imagination of her listeners. The comedy and pathos of point of view, the mysteries of womenfolk, the trickster, the fool, quests and journeys are threads on the storyteller’s colorful loom. Delighting audiences of all ages, her concerts feature an array of vivid characters and lively musical participation. Appearing in storytelling festivals around the globe, Heather Forest brings elegance, wit, comedy and the poet’s touch to classic tales from the treasury of world folklore.  Northport Library 151 Laurel Ave., .  Free Admission.
