Your support has infused the Alliance with a renewed spirit creating these initiatives:

Arts Alive LI – The Long Island October Arts Festival, launched October 2012, is a month-long festival showcasing Long Island and its world-class arts and cultural organizations. ArtsAliveLI.org is the companion website and and your go-to calendar for arts events throughout the year!

Scholarships – recognize high school students judged to be “the best of the best” on Long Island in both academics and in the arts. LIAA has partnered with area universities to offer full scholarships to qualified honorees.

– The series works to support full-time arts teaching and supplemental arts programming in schools.  This program is made possible, in part, by a grant from New York Council on the Arts (NYSCA) in 2012 and 2013.
