The Patchogue Arts Council and the Islip Arts Council collaborate to present Long Island’s largest community based arts tour; The 2012 South Shore Walking Arts Tour.
Two legs to the tour:
The first will feature the 5th Patchogue Arts Council Walking Arts Tour from Sep 1- Nov 1 through out the vacant store front and business in Patchogue, Blue Point and Bayport. A culminating event – an artist reception at the 5th Patchogue Arts Festival and free day of art music and poetry presented in collaboration with the Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts on October 21.
The second leg presented by the Islip Arts Council will take place October 13 and runs through November 11 in participating business store fronts on Main Street in Islip. The Islip Arts Council Walking Arts Tour culminates with the Antiques & Collectibles Outdoor Show on Saturday, October 20 at Brookwood Hall, East Islip. Music throughout the afternoon presented by the Islip Arts Council.
